This new Nothing Phone 2a features a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor , a model designed in collaboration with MediaTek, offering performance with optimal consumption and developed with a new state-of-the-art TSMC process. As for memory, it has 8GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded by another 8GB. If we talk about its storage capacity , this model has about 128GB . This model is powerful like few others.

6.7" Flexible AMOLED Display

The Nothing Phone 2a packs a 6.7" flexible AMOLED display that will showcase vibrant colors, deep contrasts, and ultra-thin symmetrical bezels. This model features an adaptive refresh rate that switches from 30 to 120 Hz. It has a peak brightness of 1300 nits , a 91.65% screen ratio, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage; 240 Hz touch sampling rate; 5000000: 1 contrast ratio, and 2160 Hz PWM dimming.

To keep it cool and usable for gaming, the Nothing Phone 2a features an advanced cooling system . It features an extra-large 3200mm square vapor chamber for faster, more even heat distribution. And a large cooling zone with a 0.11mm thick graphite layer so heat dissipates quickly.

The iconic Glyph Interface lets you interact with your smartphone through customizable light and sound patterns. When taking photos with a timer, a light will show the countdown; these lights also dance to the rhythm of the music; when contacts send a notification, it will be displayed with a light; it moves to the rhythm of the ringtones or changes depending on the volume of the smartphone.

Transparent design

It features the brand's self-developed transparent design , which allows you to see the entire interior of the smartphone. By placing the phone's components into its exterior design, such as the cameras inside the NFC coil, a new iconic product is created: the eyes. Behind them is the intelligence center that functions as the phone's brain. It is also in this area that the phone communicates with the outside world. The camera captures visual information, the Glyph Interface transmits data through images and audio, and the NFC coil sends and receives digital information. The elements are precisely placed using a circular grid system that extends to the edge of the phone to create more rounded corners.

To further capture interest, they have created a sense of symmetrical imbalance where the bottom of the Phone (2a) is designed to disrupt the fluidity of the top. This is where the phone’s battery, other internal components, and a set of flexible printed circuits that connect the motherboard to the display, SIM card, and USB Type-C port are located. It was designed with inspiration from Massimo Vignelli’s New York subway map. It turns out that the complexity of train layout is not so different from the layout of an electronic circuit.

Battery that lasts up to 2 days

The new Nothing Phone 2a features a huge 5000 mAh battery , which will last up to 2 days perfectly. This battery is the brand's most advanced, offering a longer life than the one in the Nothing Phone 2. In addition, it charges very quickly, thanks to its 45W fast charge that allows you to get a full day's battery in just 20 minutes of charging.

Dual 50 Mpx rear camera

In the new Nothing Phone 2a, top-notch hardware and software come together to improve the quality of every photo. This is achieved thanks to its dual rear camera that has a 50 MPx lens as the main lens and a 50 MPx wide-angle lens . This combination of lenses allows for crystal-clear photos. And its ultra-wide-angle sensor has a 114º field of view .

On its screen, it integrates a 32 Mpx camera to be able to take selfies in which you show your best self. This camera will record in 1080p at 60 fps. The cameras of this smartphone have the TrueLens Engine algorithms : advanced computational photographic algorithms that give realism to complex details in each photo. Some examples are its Ultra XDR mode , night mode, sharp captures in motion and a portrait optimizer for better results.

Nothing OS built in

The Nothing Phone 2a is powered by Nothing OS . This layer delivers the best of Android with a fast and fluid experience, based on easy use and customization of features. With these you can customize the way you use your smartphone, obtaining a faster and more intuitive experience, such as getting a monochrome theme that mutes app icons or removing labels for a less cluttered look. Its widgets allow you to do more things directly from the home and lock screens. And all this with an app launch speed twice as fast as the Nothing Ear (1) .
