Steps
1. Directly insert the telephone cable with the RJ11 plug into the RJ11 socket of the sender of the wire tracer.
2. Push the DIP switch of the emitter to the SCAN position, and then the SYATUS wire search indicator will flash which means the emitter works normally.
3. While lowering the jog button use the receiver probe to find the target wire at the other end.
4. During the test, you can press the function switch button to switch between single tone and dual tone, the SYATUS indicator lights red for single and green for double.
